How to install World Passages floors
We recommend that our floors be installed by experienced hardwood flooring installers available through your World Passages dealer. All installation instructions should be carefully followed to protect both the life of your floor and the validity of our warranties which require proper installation.

Solid Floor Installation Basics
Solid floors should be Installed on or above grade (ground level) only. Do not use over radiant heating systems. Solid floors may be:
- Nailed down or stapled over wood subfloors and existing resilient floors
- Glued down over concrete – above grade or on-grade only – using a moisture barrier and recommended installation products

Engineered Floor Installation Basics
Engineered floors can be Installed above , below or on grade (ground level), and can be used over radiant heating systems. Engineered floors may be:
- Nailed down or stapled over wood subfloors and existing resilient floors
- Glued down using recommended installation products over:
- Concrete using a moisture barrier
- Existing stone or ceramic flooring
- “Floated” over light-weight concrete subfloors
